(CORPORATE TAX) MALTA SIGNS DOUBLE TAX AGREEMENT WITH MONACO

It has been announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its press release dated the 01st of October, 2018 that Malta has signed an Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Monaco. The double tax agreement is aimed to ensure that double taxation is avoided for legal entities and individuals who carry out business activities with each other and who are resident in one or both Contracting States.

The agreement was signed by Minister Abela in New York whilst attending the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). This agreement is expected to strength further the relationship between Malta and the Principality of Monaco.
